Product Sku: immunofoal-300ml
Audevard Immunofoal is designed to provide additional nutritional support to newborn foals in need of Immunoglobulin G (IgG).
Immunoglobulin G (IgG).
-Provides additional nutritional support to newborn foals in need of immunoglobulin G (IgG is essential for combating bacteria, viruses, and toxins).
Foals are born without immune defense, and the colostrum they consume within the first 12 hours of life provides the initial antibodies (IgG), which offer protection during the first two to three months. However, orphan foals or those unable to nurse are not the only ones that may require additional IgG intake. If the quality of the mother's colostrum is inadequate, the foal may be more susceptible during the first few months of life.
Immunoglobulin G (IgG) plays a crucial role in the health of newborn foals, as it is essential for the development of their immune system.
Passive Immunity Transfer: The IgG present in colostrum provides passive immunity, protecting the newborn from infections during the first weeks of life until its own immune system becomes fully functional.
Critical Time Window: The absorption of IgG through the foal's intestine is only possible within the first 12-24 hours after birth.
Evaluation of IgG Levels: Within the first 12-24 hours
