Lactofoal is a milk substitute for foals. Its composition replicates the characteristics of mare's milk and is tailored to the specific needs of the foal from birth until weaning.

The daily milk intake is estimated at approximately 10-15% of the foal's body weight. For example, a 50 kg foal requires around 5-7.5 liters per day, divided into multiple feedings.
The milk should be warm (37-38°C).
